Who publishes this site
This site is published in a personal capacity by Daniele De Prosperis, contactable at wwdkdan@gmail.com. It is not a commercial service, sells nothing, and carries no advertising or sponsored content. Editorial independence and the author’s conflict of interest are described on the About page.
Informational purpose — no advice
The site provides general information about the publishing industry. Nothing here is legal, financial, tax or professional advice, and nothing creates a professional relationship between you and the author. Decisions about rights, contracts, payments and disputes should be reviewed by a qualified adviser in the relevant jurisdiction. The agreement checker and every briefing are educational tools; they do not certify, rate, approve or condemn any company, and produce no forecast of sales or outcomes.
Accuracy, corrections and no warranty
The site cites verifiable evidence and states uncertainty, but information changes and errors happen. Content is provided “as is”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law the author is not liable for decisions taken on the basis of these pages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory law — including the rights of consumers under Italian and EU law. Challenge any claim through the corrections desk: that route exists precisely because the record can be wrong.
The optional agreement checker
Uploading a PDF is voluntary. The document is sent once to the configured AI provider and is not stored by this site; do not upload material you are not willing to transmit to that provider (see the privacy notice). Results reflect only what the document made visible against a fixed checklist. Do not upload agreements you are contractually bound to keep confidential.
Intellectual property
Original text, identity assets and artwork on this site are the author’s and are protected by copyright. You may quote briefly with attribution and a link, and you are welcome to link to any page. Systematic copying, republication of whole briefings or use of the content to train models or generate derivative sites without permission is not authorised. Linked sources, quoted documents and third-party marks remain the property of their respective owners and are used for reporting, comment and criticism under Article 70 of the Italian copyright law and equivalent fair-dealing provisions.
Third-party links
Source links lead to independent sites. Their presence is a citation, not an endorsement, and the author has no control over their content or availability.
Governing law and forum
These terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of the author’s place of residence in Italy, except where mandatory consumer-protection rules give a consumer the right to sue, and be sued, in the courts of their own place of residence.
Changes
These terms may be updated; the date below records the current version.
